Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the straindb mobile application (the "App"), operated by Three Arrows Studio LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to use straindb. By using the App, you confirm that you are 21 or older and that you are using the App in a jurisdiction where cannabis is legal under applicable local, state, and federal law. We are not responsible for your compliance with local laws.
2. Description of Service
straindb is a personal cannabis companion app that allows users to track cannabis strains and log personal usage sessions. The App is intended for informational and personal tracking purposes only. straindb does not facilitate the purchase, sale, or distribution of cannabis or any controlled substances.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription and Payments
straindb may offer paid subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described in the App. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use straindb to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Facilitate the illegal purchase, sale, or distribution of cannabis or any controlled substance
- Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the straindb name, logo, design, code, and text — are owned by Three Arrows Studio LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. User Content
Any data you enter into the App, including strain information and session logs ("User Content"), remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
straindb is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The information provided in the App is for personal tracking purposes only and does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Three Arrows Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Three Arrows Studio LLC and its officers, members, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Apple App Store Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall govern with respect to your use of the App Store.
